TITLE: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Extended School Year Program

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

1. Licensed and/or certified by the appropriate licensing agency of the state or other appropriate entity
2. Bachelor’s degree in the field of occupational therapy assistant is preferred
3. Experience in participating in team meetings.
4. Knowledge of interventions in the area of occupational therapy
5. Knowledge of sensory integration interventions preferred
6. Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years’ experience
7. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some

 of the above qualifications

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide occupational therapy assistant services for students with special needs (under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist).

 

 SALARY:

 Based on the current approved salary range for therapy assistants of the Methuen Public Schools
