TITLE: Speech and Language Therapy Assistant for Extended School Year Program

 DATE OF OPENING: July 2024

 

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

1. Licensed and/or certified by the appropriate licensing agency of the state or other appropriate entity
2. Bachelor’s degree in the field of speech therapy assistant is preferred
3. Experience in participating in team meetings.
4. Knowledge of language development programs and interventions
5. Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years’ experience
6. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some

 of the above qualifications

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide speech therapy assistant services for students with special needs (under the supervision of a licensed speech pathologist).

 

 SALARY:

 Based on the current approved salary range for therapy assistants of the Methuen Public Schools
